Leanne Connor is off to England

To those people who do not know me, my name is Leanne  & I am from the Gippsland Pleasure Harness Society in Victoria.

I have been competing in CDE's for 3 years & 3 years prior I competed in the show-ring.

I was fortunate enough to groom/navigate for Sue French over in Austria for the World Singles Championships in June '98 at Ebbs, so when the opportunity to compete at the Royal Windsor Horse Show came up, I applied & was accepted.

After spending 4 weeks in Austria, I went to England  with Sarah Garnett. Sarah & Deemster (affectionately known as "Plod") won the dressage phase at Ebbs.

Deemster is a black Gelderlander. He around 17hh & approx. 13 years old. He has competed successfully in singles, pair & tandem.

I will be leaving Melbourne on the 4th May, accompanied by my mum, who is originally from England. We will be staying at Sarah's place until after the event.

There is a smaller event on the weekend before Windsor Horse Show, in which I have been invited to attend.

Windsor is on from the 13th - 16th of May, and if it's anything like last year, we believe 11 teams competed, it should be great.

I will keep you updated after the event/s (& during if possible), until then I will try my hardest but most of all I will have fun. After all, that's why we're all here, isn't it?
